Links experiences very low staff turnover, which gives families continuity with their childcare.
All staff are qualified to at least the minimum required qualification and the majority are more highly qualified.
All of our staff are recruited using Warwickshire Safeguarding Children’s Board Safer Recruitment Procedures. A DBS and up to date references are always completed prior to the staff member beginning their employment at The Links Daycare Centre Ltd. Annual checks are also completed to ensure the information held is as current as possible.
All staff undergo a thorough induction prior to commencing employment.
Links as an employer is committed to encouraging and supporting both Personal and Professional Development of their staff.

Children’s places must be pre-booked by completing a termly booking form. This is now available on-line upon request. Sessions must be paid for in advance. Children may be collected anytime within the session time period. If collected after the pre-booked session ends, the additional session charge will apply.
Late collection will result in an additional charge – £10 minimum payment for the first 15 minutes after 6pm; followed by a £1 charge per child for every minute thereafter.
As soon as your booking form has been submitted, the sessions will be allocated to your child/children and must be paid for, even if your child is unable to attend due to sickness or alternative collection arrangements.
Please be aware if your child wishes to attend any organised after school sessions at their school, we offer a later collection service; however, we would still charge for our first session, as we are holding a space open for them. Late notification by the schools, of clubs can be an issue.
Notifying us of school clubs, their start and finish dates and times and any cancellations is your responsibility.
These prices are subject to an annual review.
We can give you information on Childcare Voucher Schemes operated by employers and may be able to assist you with the completion of Working Family Tax Credit forms. We also have some information on Tax Free Childcare Accounts.
Please be aware, we are a not-for-profit organisation and to this aim, keep our fees affordably low. Any excess income is always re-invested into improving the business and purchasing new equipment for the children’s enjoyment.
Nursery places are allocated by Sarah Shilton, the Centre Manager. You are required to complete a Registration Form which can be obtained by telephoning 02476 394782 or emailing us – email@example.com and send this to us. We will acknowledge receipt either by telephone or email. At this stage a place is not confirmed. You will be advised of this after the Easter Break and will be invited to an Open Day. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Currently there are two intakes per year, September and January (space permitting).Admissions policy
Before & After School
Due to health and safety restrictions and the size of our building, we have a limited number of places available in our club. Call us to find out about availability.
Please be aware attendance at Links does not automatically guarantee a place at Nathaniel Newton Infant School. School places are allocated by the School Admissions Team at Warwickshire County Council and are not influenced by which nursery your child attends (see the link for School Admissions below).
